Press release by William Mortensen Vaughan and Stacy Brecht  According to previous cover model, Stacy Brecht of CBS Los AngelesMatt Cady's "first full-length show, titled 'It's About Robots and Humans and the Meaning of Life,' which he directed, choreographed, produced, and scored... [was scheduled to] be... at [the] Barnsdall Gallery Theatre... at 4800 Hollywood Blvd., Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m."

Stacy tells us that it "showcases fifteen professional dancers, telling the story of societal and governmental threats to individuality... through intricate, dynamic choreography set to an original score. 

"Matt Cady created Fanny Pak on M.T.V. [Music Television's] 'A.B.D.C.' [America's Best Dance Crew], and has choreographed world tours for Madonna, Britney Spears, and Ricky Martin.  He also provided choreographing for the film Honey 2 and the Lifetime show 'Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition.'

"...[Matt] Cady's original music, which accompanies the live production, will be sold on iTunes, and some of his imaginative art paintings will be sold in the lobby."

When asked what initiated his desire to develop this show, Matt Cady replied, "I've been conceptualizing my own show for more than seven years, and took a long hibernation to develop the music and story line for the production.

"The production taps into what made me love dance, and is loosely based on my experience with Fanny Pak."

Stacy says that Matt Cady "travels the world teaching master classes with his distinct style," and "currently tours with Intrigue Dance Intensive, N.R.G. [Energy?] Dance, and [the] Celebrity Dance Convention."
