Film Review: Hemorrhage

Josh Mitchell as Chris Chaffe in Hemorrhage
Josh Mitchell as Chris Chaffe in Hemorrhage
In 2015, when U.S. Presidential Candidate Donald Trump has stirred controversy about illegal immigration especially from Mexico, a short, fictitious film on the topic is released.   Written, directed by, and starring Josh Mitchell of Wicked Pissa Publicity as a "hockey player [who] finds himself face-to-face with a Mexican gang," his "new action film 'Hemorrhage,'" is viewable at:

Josh Mitchell plays Chris Chaffe, a "brawling hockey player [who] suffers his fourth concussion and is forced to retire [and who] connects with a shady old high school friend and starts flipping houses but quickly finds himself face-to-face with a dangerous Mexican gang."

"When they rough up his wife and kidnap his son - the gloves come off and he takes matters into his own hands.

"This is Taken meets 'Sons of Anarchy.'"

I find this film professionally produced and engrossing, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in either side of the current illegal immigration controversy.

By the way, I glimpsed an L.A. Kings logo in the footage, so I assume it was filmed at their rink.
