Interview With Beatriz

Beatriz
Beatriz introduced herself to us as "a female Pop/Dance artist... just about to release [her] E.P. [Extended Play] album in English and Spanish," who "[owns] all rights to [her] songs.  She tells us that she has "performed at many festivals and events throughout California," including the L.A. County Fair, and is "currently [preparing] for more upcoming performances."  Apparently, she was pictured on the cover of Diva TĂș lifestyle magazine in 2014.

Her official website is at:

Libertad:  Where were you born?

Beatriz:  I was born in Oxnard, California.  A city known for its beautiful strawberry fields and beaches...

Libertad:  Where do you currently reside?

Beatriz:  I currently reside in Los Angeles.

Libertad:  What do you love most about your work?

Beatriz:  What I love most about my work is getting to be creative and expressive.  Performing my heart out is what I love most.

Libertad:  What talents and hobbies do you have?

Beatriz:  My talents are singing, dancing, acting, and songwriting – the performing arts!  My hobbies also include fashion, reading and the beach!

Libertad:  What inspires you?

Beatriz:  So much inspires me!  It can change on a daily basis.  It can be anything, such as love; darkness; passion; the people who believe in me, life, family, art, flowers, self-challenge and growth – the list goes on!

Libertad:  What is the hardest part of your job?

Beatriz:  The hardest part of my job is being away from my family. Sometimes I miss out on birthdays or family get-togethers because I have to stay focused and work in L.A.  Another hard part is remaining self-disciplined and focused at all times, trying to stay on track.  It’s so easy to go left or right!  Being an entrepreneur means a lot of self-discipline, motivation, and along list of things to do!

Libertad:  What foreign languages, if any, do you read, write, and/or speak?

Beatriz:  I read, write, and speak Spanish.  I especially love songwriting in the Spanish language.

Libertad:  Where have you traveled?

Beatriz:  So far, I’ve traveled to Australia, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Mexico, and New York.

Libertad:  What are your career goals?

Beatriz:  My career goals are to always create, do what I love and inspire people through my work and myself.  I want to be great and grow my business from the bottom to the top! Hope to leave my very own stamp in this world!

Libertad:  What projects are you working on?

Beatriz:  I’m currently working on a few projects - my music and acting primarily.  I’ll be releasing my English/Spanish E.P. album very soon!  I also want to branch out into songwriting for other artists, my own online fashion label, and event coordinating/marketing for other brands.  Phew!  [Laughs]  I’ve finally accepted [calling] myself an entrepreneur.

Libertad:  What upcoming events, if any, do you intend to participate in?

Beatriz:  I’m currently working on lining up a list of events for me to perform at.  Very exciting and if you stay connected with me on my social media – I will soon be announcing some upcoming shows.

Libertad:  What links would you like to share?

Beatriz:  To stay connected, you can follow me on my Instagram, YouTube page, and F.B. [Facebook] fan page:
