Review by William Mortensen Vaughan
Bottom Line Up Front: This episode is available for free at:

The series includes footage of approximately five dozen actors, including the Director, Marc Chicoine, and two of the writers and co-directors, Fran Rubin, James Mason, and Rex Chicoine. It is essentially the soap opera or telenovela version of a crime series, if soap operas were funny. This series is hilarious! If any of the actors become celebrities, and go on talk shows, hosts will use this footage to embarrass them.
I couldn't bear to watch the entire episode. When I saw, during the first half of the episode, a one-shot montage and a drastic time/lighting change in the middle of a conversation, for no apparent reason, I stopped watching.
What little I did see begs the following questions:
Why does the Metropolitan "Met-Zone" Police dispatcher answer a cell phone instead of a land line when someone in Metropolitan calls the police?
Why doesn't a robbery with hostages merit a Metropolitan Police response?
Who is Metrabby?
Why do Metropolitan Police Officers look like children and sound like Mexicans?
What is the relationship between Metropolitan and Metropolitain?
Why would things be worse if Patterson were President?
Who is Patterson?
How did Worst escape from prison?
Will a potion from the Metropolitan Mountains cure the world of pain?
Why are there "Western Days" in Metropolitan?
How bad must the casino business in Metropolitan be if they have touts on the street to advertise them?
Why is Metropolitan Detective looking for someone named Anka?
Why does Bulldozer Stevens want to meet Metropolitan Detective?
Will there be a show-down/shoot-out at the Metropolitan Ditch?
Will it start at high noon and suddenly be nightfall before the bullets reach their targets?
For the answers to these and other questions, stay tuned for following episodes; Marc Chicoine is currently working on Episode 5.
