Introduction by William Mortensen Vaughan Tanya Katchouni told us she "would like to be submitted for an issue of La Libertad Magazine." We are glad someone did!
LA Libertad: Where were you born?
Tanya: Montreal, Canada.

Tanya: Actor.
LA Libertad: In which city and State do you live?
Tanya: Los Angeles.
LA Libertad: What do you love most about your work?

I get a kick out of discovering what the character and me have in common and learning through them. I also enjoy the collaborative nature of film-making and theatre. So, lots of things! This is a tough question!
LA Libertad: Do you have any other talents or hobbies?
Tanya: Dancing in the mirror, singing in the shower, and pretending to be a gourmet chef (I’m actually pretty good).
LA Libertad: What inspires you?

LA Libertad: What is the hardest part of your job?
Tanya: I guess being far away from my family and most of my friends... Missing birthdays and certain events...
LA Libertad: Do you speak any other languages?
Tanya: Français [winks].
LA Libertad: Where have you traveled?
Tanya: Lots of be-beachy places! I’m a beach bum. Also, Paris and most of Canada, for work. I would like to travel much, much more!

Tanya: To never stop growing and learning.
LA Libertad: Any upcoming projects?
Tanya: I have a beautiful Indie film, Dear Sister, which should be screened at several festivals in the upcoming year, and the web series “Monogamy,” scheduled to be released very soon. I also just shot the trailer for the Indie thriller "Him."
