Vaughanster: After looking at your web sites (www.vampiresaviors.com and www.thevampiresaviors.com), I gather that "Vampire Saviors" is an "original YouTube mini-series coming soon." How soon?
Tracy Williams: We are scheduled to start filming in late August and we will start airing the show in December.
Vaughanster: Are you still looking for cast and crew for this series, as indicated by your YouTube video? If so, what do people need to do to apply - e-mail head shots and resumés to casting@vampiresaviors.com?
Tracy Williams: We are looking for background and extras; at this point all our principle roles are cast. Yes, email with headshot and resume is perfect.
Vaughanster: Apparently, the "vampire saviors" in this mini-series are vampires who save humans - not other people who save vampires, correct?
Tracy Williams: THE VAMPIRE SAVIORS are vampires that form a coalition to protect innocent humans and the planet from the evil forces that thrive on chaos.
Vaughanster: Furthermore, I gather that the vampires in this mini-series will not have super powers, right?
Tracy Williams: Forget everything Hollywood has taught you about vampires. The vamps in this show are hiding in plain sight; garlic is delicious; they don’t fly or turn into other animals, and sunlight does not burn them.
Vaughanster: There are at least a half dozen Shawn Williams' listed on IMDb.com, as well as more than a dozen Tracy Williams'; which ones, if any, are you, the Shawn Z. Williams and Tracy Lynn Williams who co-wrote the documentary Love All Humans with Beck Starr, and co-produced it with Edward Mendoza?
Tracy Williams: Yes we are Shawn Z. Williams and Tracy Lynn Williams of LOVE ALL HUMANS Productions.
Vaughanster: Your website states that "VAMPIRE SAVIORS will tell the truth about other Vampire movies that are for entertainment purposes only." Is "Vampire Saviors" not "for entertainment purposes only"?
Tracy Williams: The answers will all be revealed in time.
Vaughanster: Todd H. Mathus told me that you and Shawn Williams are the creators of "Vampire Saviors." What is your relationship to Shawn Williams?
Tracy Williams: We are married.
Vaughanster: Todd also told me that you, Tracy, handle most of the production business; what is Shawn's specialty?
Tracy Williams: Shawn Z. Williams is the creative genius behind the concept, the head writer and producer. He also writes all the music for the show. I do the scheduling, communications, casting, logistics, PR [public relations] and social media.
Vaughanster: The following questions are for both you and Shawn:
When and where were you and Shawn born (to the nearest decade or decades, if you don't want to give your precise date or dates of birth)?
Tracy Williams: Shawn was born in San Jose, California in 1975. I was born in Los Angeles, California in 1971.
Vaughanster: How did the two of you commemorate Memorial Day this year?
Tracy Williams: We commemorated with our radio show LOVE ALL HUMANS on blog talk radio thanking all the brave men and women of our armed forces past and present. While also reminding our listeners not to let those who died fighting for our freedom and peace, die in vain. We must learn from this and not repeat the past. When we honor them, by changing our ways to be more tolerant and loving, there will be no more use for violence and killing.
Vaughanster: How do you intend to celebrate Flag Day?
Tracy Williams: We celebrate by thinking of how far our nation and global society has come and how much further we have to go to create a global, peaceful society with one flag to symbolize humanity.
Vaughanster: What, if anything, would you like the world to know about your parents, siblings and/or children?
Tracy Williams: We are very thankful to our parents for rising us right and giving us the ability to believe in ourselves and achieve our dreams.
Vaughanster: Where do you stand on homosexuality and homosexual marriage?
Tracy Williams: Love unites humans; man creates laws to divide humans, and therefore, marriage is love, so who are we to judge?
Vaughanster: Do you like to travel? What cities, States and countries have you visited? What others would you like to visit?
Tracy Williams: Our curiosity of different cultures has led us to many places both in [the] U.S. and around the world. We are interested in all different areas of the world and U.S. and are willing to travel almost anywhere. Of course, in the last two years we have been so busy helping others (travel is very limited) we never even took a honeymoon!
Vaughanster: You only have credits associated with Love All Humans on your IMDb.com pages. What other credits would you like to see there?
Tracy Williams: THE VAMPIRE SAVIORS and other productions that are in the works. IMDb will be hearing much more from LOVE ALL HUMANS Productions in the future. In fact, we are working very closely with Eric Zuley “the Hollywood it Guy” on several projects that will be coming out soon.
Vaughanster: How important are IMDb.com pages to you?
Tracy Williams: They are industry standard right now and the cast and crew is very interested in receiving the recognition of their hard work through this database.
Vaughanster: What advice would you like to give anyone trying to succeed or "make it" in Hollywood?
Tracy Williams: Never give up, believe in yourself and love yourself. This business is pretty brutal; you may receive 1,000 rejections before you get to one yes. Do not take it personally. Make sure this is really what you really want to pursue. Take classes; ask people in the profession and most of all promote yourself everywhere. Do not let any opportunity slip past you; take advantage of those opportunities. Nothing is handed to you here; you must work for it and create income while pursuing your dreams. Perseverance is key.
